Despite the grey city skyline and dull weather, Aberdeen is a city lacking when it comes to producing emo music, surprisingly. Step forward the Scottish music scene's emo torchbearers, Palejoy.

It's been quite a formative couple of years for Palejoy, playing shows across Scotland and sharing stages with some of the finest up and coming bands the UK has to offer, including shows with Split Chain, Lo Rays and a sold out headline show of their own. All this off the back of just two demo releases, a "viral moment" on X, and all driven by a DIY ethos. Fast forward to the present day and with 2 more releases under their belt, Palejoy are well on their way to becoming a driving force in the UK's Alternative scene.
