Sorry Darling

Description
Sorry Darling are Liz Wagner Biro(vocals/guitar), Steve Bailey(vocals/guitar), Jackie Land(bass), and Dan Holodak (drums). Drawn from disparate corners of the NYC music scene, the quartet came together in 2022 over a shared love of earworm melodies, big guitars, and writing the kind of songs that you want to sing in the shower at the top of your lungs.
The genesis ofthe band was the friendship and songwriting partnership of Wagner Biro and Bailey. Wagner Biro had been a supporting player in multiple bands [Wild Yawp, The Significant Looks, Blaze Pascal, Pink Enigma] and was looking to step out into the front as a singer/songwriter, while Bailey had been the leader of Brooklyn-based punk pop band The Sharp Shadowsand longed to stretch out stylistically. The two found a common bond in the devil-may-care rock n’ roll of turn-of-the-millenium brit-rockers the Libertines and the wistful California pop of HAIM and decided to join forces by forming a band that might implausibly mix the two.
